For a lot of industries, the 9-5 working hours don’t make sense. I’m sure most of us have been through those hectic rush hours. 

Instead, let your employees and colleagues decide when they want to clock in and out for the week. For as long as meetings are attended on time and deadlines are still met, flexible working hours are a great way to allow your team to increase its productivity.

Prioritize Everyone’s Well-Being

A stressed and unhealthy workplace is a cause for low productivity. Are your team members keeping themselves physically fit? Do they feel secure in the work environment? Or are there any members of the team bullying another person? These issues must be dealt with immediately. 

You can’t force employees and colleagues to eat healthy food, but you can provide them options. There are many food delivery services across the country that will send healthy meals to your office’s doorstep.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), positive workplaces that promote mental health and care after employees with mental disorders are more likely to have less absentees, improved productivity and reap more economic gains. Remember, your team is the engine to your company. You’re not going to get the most out of it if it’s now well taken care of.

Set Clear Goals and Give Feedback

The end goal of a project is obviously a must-know for each employee. But clear, short-term goals are much more effective in making sure that employees manage their time wisely and are on track to reach the end goal before the deadline. When each goal is met, provide your feedback. Acknowledge them if they did a good job, and if they need to patch a few things up, there’s still plenty of time to address it.
