LinkedIn Training for Employees? Survey Says, YES.
April 7, 2021 - 1 minute read - B2B, LinkedIn, LumineticsSurvey says…
𝗕𝟮𝗕 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱𝗜𝗻 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲𝘀.
58% of you said yes.
9% of you said no.
And 33% said it depends on the company.
Here are some key points I gathered from my LinkedIn poll.
- Companies that have an audience on LinkedIn would benefit from providing LinkedIn Training for their employees, however, the education/training shouldn’t be “corporatized.”
- The company should encourage individual employees to create their OWN personal brands where they showcase their unique expertise while also being a representative of the company.
- If companies want their employees to share and distribute company content, it needs to be share-worthy.
In other words, updates and links to webinars aren’t gonna cut it.
Companies need a sound LinkedIn content strategy that leverages diverse, humanized content around many topics.
AND a strategy that leverages their PEOPLE.
