Five Reasons Your Sales Team Needs LinkedIn Training

November 17, 2022 - 2 minutes read - LinkedIn Training, Sales, Sales Navigator

5 reasons your sales team isn’t crushing it on LinkedIn right now.

𝟏. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐬𝐚𝐮𝐜𝐞.

And honestly, if they have a weak profile, #2 – #5 doesn’t even matter because it all starts with an optimized profile.

𝟐. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠.

What do they do? What do they say?

Most reps have never been shown the right ways to build real relationships on LinkedIn.

𝟑. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧’𝐭 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥. (Which would really help with #2.)

They spend no time leaving comments and actively engaging with prospects, with their colleagues, and with industry leaders.

Leaving meaningful comments every single day is so powerful and so underutilized.

𝟒. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧’𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠.

Curating content is quick and effective, yet most sales reps are barely posting.

At the very least, they should be sharing your company page’s content.

𝟓. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧’𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐱𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫.
