Does LinkedIn Creator Mode Decrease Your Reach?

June 8, 2021 - 1 minute read - Content Strategy, LinkedIn

Does LinkedIn Creator Mode really decrease your post reach?

If you have access to Creator Mode, have you noticed this?

There’s a lot of chatter right now about people who have turned on LinkedIn’s new Creator Mode only to find a drastic decrease in their post views.

I’m curious if you are noticing this.

Here’s what I noticed…

I got access to Creator Mode over a month ago.

I flipped it on and kept it on for a bit. Then I turned it off for two weeks.

Then recently turned it back on – this will be 2 weeks since I’ve had it back on.

Yes, my post views have been all over the place and some lower than normal, but when I had Creator Mode off, I noticed the same thing, before switching it back on.

I think the algorithms are going through more frequent updates?

And maybe Creator Studio is part of those algorithm updates and things are weird right now?

Who knows.

But, I am going to keep my Creator Mode on for now.
